Population and Sample

This study was conducted in the month of March 2022, and an analysis of the study was

completed in April 2022, following a month of data collection and investigation. This

research focuses on university students in the Kota Damansara area who have utilised online

learning platforms such as Zoom, Google Hangouts or Google Meet, Microsoft Teams,

Skype, online university portals such as LMS, Moodle, Blackboard, or VLE, and other

similar platforms. Nonetheless, both male and female respondents were urged to take part in

this study. Furthermore, the survey was created with Google Forms and sent to the sample

group via social media sites like Whatsapp and Instagram.

Significance of the Study

The attitude and motivation of students will be unravelled, underlined, and inspected

via the full analysis of this study on the relationship between factors that contribute to

intention to reuse online learning platform among students during COVID-19 Pandemic.

Furthermore, this study will examine how the effectiveness of online learning and the control

over academic tasks affects the desire to return to online learning platforms.

In this sense, our research will raise public knowledge of the reuse of online learning.

Furthermore, many developers as well as parties engaged in constructing online platforms

will have a better understanding of students' requirements, wishes, and ideas in order to

enhance the quality of online learning and the elements that influence it as a result of this

study's research.

In addition, the overview offered in this study will push for new paradigms that will

be relevant for future discussions on the intention to reuse online learning platform among

students during COVID-19 Pandemic.


Profile of Respondents

Table 1 depicts a demographic profile of 51 respondents in regards to the factors that

influence students' intention to reuse an online learning platform during the covid-19

pandemic. Gender, nationality, age, race, education level, education institution, year of study,

and platform usage are among the almost eight variables taken into account. According to the

data gathered, 31 females made up the majority of the respondents (60.8%). Nonetheless, the

survey found that (66.7%) of the responders, or around 34 people, were locals. Furthermore,

it reveals that the races represented a total of (66.6%) of the population, with 5 Malay, 9

Chinese, and 20 Indians. Apart from that, the majority of responders are between the ages of

20-24, which is almost similar to (74.5%).

According to the report, the biggest number of respondents are 42 students pursuing a

Bachelor's Degree (82.4%). Nevertheless, over (80.4%) of responders (41 in total) come from

private educational institutes. In addition, (41.2%) of responders (21 students) are Year 2

students. Microsoft Teams (66.7%) is the most often utilised online platform among these 51

respondents, accounting for over 34 respondents.
