“Catching a Hummingbird”

Objective: 
Demonstrate communicative competence through an exhibition. 
Identify and explain in a video an endangered species in Peru. (animal) 

Project 
Considering the National Geographic video for Unit 11, located in the E-book, students will work in
groups (maximum 3) to plan a similar video about an endangered animal in Peru. 

Ideas Activities

 You will present the exposition using technological resources with a video of 8 to 10 minutes
of explanation. 

Grammar structures: 

1. Simple Present tense, present continuous 


2. Past simple
3. Adjectives
4. Comparatives
5. Prepositions of place

Considerations to Evaluate:

1.Delivery progress in week 7, the project must have the following characteristics: 
1. Planning and organization of the project. (task for each participant) 
2. Identify the activities to include in the video (minimum 5) 
3. Select the photographs (minimum 5) to present. 
4. Create a draft text with the ideas according to the topic.
 
2.Final delivery week 15, the project must have the following characteristics: 
1. Presentation and exhibition of the video with a minimum duration of 8 to 10 minutes. 
2. Participation of all members. 
3. Upload the video on the indicated date. 

Time Limit: On May, Thursday 25th, 2023 at 23:59 hours.
