Directions: Answer the following questions to verbalize your
Understanding of the teaching cycle.
1. In which stage/s of the teaching cycle are the students
involved? Explain.
> The Teaching Cycle. Good teachers go through a continuously repeating process of assessing
student needs, planning instruction, delivering instruction, assessing outcomes, and then
determining student needs again.
2. Which stage/s of the teaching cycle requires the teacher to
reflect about teaching and learning? Explain.
> Reflect on Teaching, every step of the Teaching Cycle Project and discuss how this experience
added to your knowledge of teaching. Also discuss how this experience added to your insights
on the type of teacher you are and the goals you have as a teacher.
3. What do you think is the most important stage of the learning
cycle? Why do you think so?
> Check for understanding,Teaching is about helping students to learn. During the
implementation of the lesson plan, you must every now and then check whether the students
have understood what you have covered so far.
4. Interview two mathematics teachers. Ask them about the
stages of the teaching cycle that they follow. Then, create a
diagram illustrating their common answers.
5. How is the diagram you created in no.4 similar or different
from the cycle that was presented in this lesson?
> some of them are similar in planning a lesson, you must really plan your lesson and also
understand it so that it will not be difficult for you to teach your students.
