WINDOWS DISPLAY

(Windows 10)

 What is Windows 10

Windows 10 is the latest version after Windows 8. Windows 10 itself was released

on July 29, 2015 this system is the best version of the current Microsoft Windows

operating system.

Windows 10 is a personal computer operating system developed by Microsoft as

part of the Windows NT operating system family. Introduced on 30 September 2014,

[3] released on 29 July 2015 and in November 2015, Threshold 2 of Windows 10

(v10.0.10586) was released to the public

First introduced in April 2014 at the Build Conference, Windows 10 aims to

overcome the deficiencies in the user interface first introduced by Windows 8 by adding

additional mechanics designed to improve user experience for devices that don't have

touch screens (such as desk and laptop computers), including the rise of the Start menu

seen in Windows 7, the virtual desktop system, and the ability to run the Windows

Exchange application in a window on the desktop rather than full screen mode.

 This is Windows 10 Display and Features

1. Display a New Window Bar

can we see the Window Bar in Windows 10 with other versions of Windows

such as Windows 8 and 7. Looks different right? Look at the icons on the

Window bar such as the close, minimize, and maximize icons that now look

more flat, different from the Window Bar in previous versions of Windows
2. cortana

Cortana is a voice-based virtual assistant developed by Microsoft. By using

Cortana, we can give commands such as opening applications, opening

content on the web, searching for files or anything else at the same time you

can also ask questions. Where Cortana is on the right side of the Start button,

precisely in the search bar column.

3. New Taskbar Display

Display the taskbar in Windows 10 above looks very interesting, right? And

the taskbar version this time has certainly experienced many changes

compared to the previous version. Unlike Windows 8, in Windows 10, some

of the main features you can easily find on the taskbar. In Windows 10, the

Start menu is located to the left of the search column where there is a

Cortana icon to the left of the search column. In addition, the color

combination on the taskbar is also very interesting

4. Display Active Window Animation on the Taskbar

Try to note the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. If you look closely, you

can see that there is an active Window animation on the taskbar when several

applications are opened.

Where the application icon will appear bright lines underneath and also the

background icon changes to a lighter color than the base color. In addition,

when you move from one active application to another, there will be an

animation effect that occurs

5. Aero Start Menu feature

Windows 10 also presents a Start menu display called the Aero Start Menu.

Well, the start menu is very different from the start menu in the previous

version where the appearance is no longer stiff by sticking to the top but

looks like it's on the back of the taskbar and looks floating. You can scroll to

the Start menu to see a list of applications or live tiles.

6. Search column on the Taskbar

In Windows 10, the search column display on the taskbar is different from

the search column display in previous versions. Where the search column in

the start menu has been removed and replaced with a search column in the

taskbar.

With the search field, you can search for applications, features, content on

the web, files or documents, and so on. In this search column, you will find

the Cortana feature that can help you find what you want through Voice

Comman

7. Tampilan Action Center

In Windows 10, the role of the Notification Center has been replaced by the

Action Center. Action Center is located in the lower right corner with the

notification icon. Click the icon and the Action Center window will appear

full from the bottom to the top of the screen and is on the right.
This Action Center will be synchronized with devices on Windows 10 that

you have. In addition, at the bottom of the Action Center window there are

several buttons that you can expand to access various settings quickly.

8. Table Mode

On Windows 10, you can change your laptop mode into a tablet, using the

Tablet Mode feature. To activate this feature, click the notification icon in

the lower right corner then select Tablet Mode as shown above. When your

laptop is in tablet mode then all applications become full screen (default)

including the start screen. In addition, the interface will be simpler and

Metro-style.

The purpose of the Tablet Mode feature is to make it easier for touch screen

users. So, when you use a type of laptop that can turn into a tablet then this

tablet mode will be very helpful

9. Task View

Task View is used to display active windows, complete with contents,

captions and cross buttons to close them. To activate this feature, simply

click on the icon, like a stack of two boxes, which is right next to Cortana.

Interesting right ? So, for those of you who are still using Windows 8.1, 8 or

7, it doesn't hurt to try to change your version of Windows to Windows 10 so

you can try out the cool and attractive features and appearance of Windows
HOW DO COMPUTER WORKS

What is a computer?

A computer is an electronic machine that processes information—in other words, an

information processor: it takes in raw information (or data) at one end, stores it until it's

ready to work on it, chews and crunches it for a bit, then spits out the results at the other end.

All these processes have a name. Taking in information is called input, storing information is

better known as memory (or storage), chewing information is also known as processing, and

spitting out results is called output.

Once you understand that computers are about input, memory, processing, and output, all the

junk on your desk makes a lot more sense:

 Input: Your keyboard and mouse, for example, are just input units—ways of getting

information into your computer that it can process. If you use a microphone and

voice recognition software, that's another form of input.

 Memory/storage: Your computer probably stores all your documents and files on a

hard drive: a huge magnetic memory. But smaller, computer-based devices like

digital cameras and cellphones use other kinds of storage such as flash memory

cards.

 Processing: Your computer's processor (sometimes known as the central processing

unit) is a microchip buried deep inside. It works amazingly hard and gets incredibly

hot in the process. That's why your computer has a little fan blowing away—to stop

its brain from overheating!

 Output: Your computer probably has an LCD screen capable of displaying high-

resolution (very detailed) graphics, and probably also stereo loudspeakers. You may

have an inkjet printer on your desk too to make a more permanent form of output.

What is a computer program?

Most computer users rely on prewritten programs like Microsoft Word and Excel or

download apps for their tablets and smartphones without caring much how they got there.

Hardly anyone writes programs any more, which is a shame, because it's great fun and a

really useful skill. Most people see their computers as tools that help them do jobs, rather

than complex electronic machines they have to pre-program. Some would say that's just as

well, because most of us have better things to do than computer programming. Then again, if

we all rely on computer programs and apps, someone has to write them, and those skills need
to survive. Thankfully, there's been a recent resurgence of interest in computer programming.

"Coding" (an informal name for programming, since programs are sometimes referred to as

"code") is being taught in schools again with the help of easy-to-use programming languages

like Scratch. There's a growing hobbyist movement, linked to build-it yourself gadgets like

the Raspberry Pi and Arduino. And Code Clubs, where volunteers teach kids programming,

are springing up all over the world.

What's the difference between hardware and software?

The beauty of a computer is that it can run a word-processing program one minute—and then

a photo-editing program five seconds later. In other words, although we don't really think of

it this way, the computer can be reprogrammed as many times as you like. This is why

programs are also called software. They're "soft" in the sense that they are not fixed: they can

be changed easily. By contrast, a computer's hardware—the bits and pieces from which it is

made (and the peripherals, like the mouse and printer, you plug into it)—is pretty much

fixed when you buy it off the shelf. The hardware is what makes your computer powerful; the

ability to run different software is what makes it flexible. That computers can do so many

different jobs is what makes them so useful—and that's why millions of us can no longer live

without them!

What is an operating system?

Suppose you're back in the late 1970s, before off-the-shelf computer programs have really

been invented. You want to program your computer to work as a word processor so you can

bash out your first novel—which is relatively easy but will take you a few days of work. A
few weeks later, you tire of writing things and decide to reprogram your machine so it'll play

chess.

HOT ISSUE

Jokowi Call a Chinese Ship Entering Natuna to Chase a Running Fish?

"The relationship between the Government of Indonesia and China heats up following the

alleged theft of the Bamboo Curtain country in Natuna waters. Indonesia itself has expressed

protest through a diplomatic note to China. President Joko Widodo came to Natuna Regency,

Riau Islands Province, which is currently in a hot topic of conversation because it was

claimed by China. There Jokowi met with fishermen and saw the Natuna sea from KRI

Usman Harun. Jokowi arrived at the Lampa Strait Integrated Naval Base at around 11.47

West Indonesian Time, Wednesday (01/08/2020), and immediately greeted the crew. Not

long after, Jokowi boarded KRI Usman Harun who was leaning on the dock. From the top of

KRI Usman Harun, Jokowi ensured that there were no violations by China, both from the

Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and the theft of fish that was widely mentioned by the

media. "I have confirmed, they (Chinese fishermen) come here to steal fish, but chase fish

that run into Indonesian waters, so from their area (China) the fish run to Indonesia through

the Natuna Waters, so that's what happened," Jokowi saidThere President Jokowi also met
with Natuna fishermen at the Natuna Integrated Maritime and Fisheries Center. To the

fishermen, Jokowi confirmed that Natuna was the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Today I want to confirm and inform you that the Natuna Islands are our territories included

in the Republic of Indonesia and China, too, knowing that," Jokowi said as reported by

Antara. China will leave Natuna waters after capturing its "fugitive" fish which are not sure

how many. International political expert Obsatar Sinaga assessed Jokowi's visit to give a

signal to China. The Chancellor of Widyatama University said that Jokowi's visit would have

an impact on Natuna's problem. Because, with that visit, China and the world community

were given a message that Natuna was Indonesian territory. "The president wants to show

China if Indonesia's attitude is firm toward Natuna's affairs," Obsatar said when met after the

MoU between Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang and Widyatama University. "
