Introduction:
Jio, a leading telecom company in India, is looking to bid for a new tender to provide
telecommunication services. We believe that our extensive experience in the industry and
innovative approach to technology will enable us to deliver exceptional services to meet the
needs of the customers.
Our Bid:
The union government’s budget of 2023 highlighted several key areas such as the growth of
agriculture, provision of quality education, extensive use of artificial intelligence and related
issues boosting the growth of the country. Presently, Jio is the only company which can boost
the central government’s vision of fulfilling these key areas and nurturing a developed India.
The company is also committed to provide high-quality telecommunications services to the
people of India. Our bid will be based on the following principles:
1) Education: For education in India, the District Institute for Education and Training (DIET)
are district-level educational institutes which have been established in each district of India
by the Indian government. They help in coordinating and implementing government policies
at district level. The Government of India scheme can be boosted to each and every nook and
corner through the platform of JIO. The company can also help to massively bridge the gap
between tier-2 and tier-3 city with tier-1 city students with respect to educational
requirements of a student
2) Healthcare: India became the world's first to successfully perform a telerobotic coronary
intervention on December 5 by an Ahmedabad base cardiologist in Gujarat. Dr Patel used Jio
Band 100 MBPS internet connection to perform this surgery that lasted for about 15 minutes.
Secondly, Reliance Jio and the Delhi's Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences teamed up for
better healthcare delivery recently. The partnership will enable the most advanced healthcare
technologies for cutting-edge breakthroughs in the field of healthcare. These two significant
stories highlight the revolution JIO is undertaking in the health sector of India. This tip is just
the tip of the ice berg with similar records and a first of many coming up in a number of
Indian states
3) Skills and Livelihood: The government of India introduced the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal
Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) which is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development
& Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The
objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian-youth to
take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
Currently, the GOI wants to introduce PMKVY 4.0 with a larger target set. With the
collaboration of JIO and GOI, it would be comparatively easy to reach a larger target
audience. JIO already has effective systems in place to efficiently execute PMKVY 4.0
providing young Indians with relevant skills to earn their livelihoods.
4) Innovation: Jio is known for its innovative approach to technology. Jio's efforts in
launching a disruptive technology ensured high efficiency and better performance for its
consumers compared to what was offered by traditional network operators. The company also
has sufficient funds and resources to continuously experiment, research and develop, to
accomplish best in class and relevant services for the end users. Today, a majority of
competitor telecommunication firms are running in losses and do not have enough appetite to
continuously innovate and provide the very best to their customers. This is where JIO has the
added advantage of having a large corpus and putting the customer’s requirements at the
forefront
5) Agriculture and related operations- Presently, more than 50% of India’s population is
directly employed in the primary sector (agriculture and related sector). However, the
primary sector only contributes to 10-20% of the GDP economy. To develop India, it is
important to develop agriculture and the subsidiary incomes earned from it. JIO clearly
understands the central government’s concern and has thus placed various agricultural
models in place to boost agriculture output and support a farmer however possible. The
success of JIO Krishi initiative is a testimony for everyone which directly boosts a farmer’s
income. The GOI also wished to build a ‘digital public infrastructure’ wherein JIO again can
act as an aid to successfully execute the mission
Conclusion:
Jio believes that its bid for the new tender will provide the best value to the customers. We
are committed to providing high-quality, affordable and innovative telecommunications
services, while maintaining our commitment to corporate social responsibility. We look
forward to the opportunity to serve the people of India and make a positive impact on their
lives.
Also, as of the Government of India, it is our collective vision to build a developed India, one
with opportunities for all individuals. The aim of developed India can be only built by
strategic public-private partnership in a mixed economy such as India. Thus, we believe that
we are the best choice for the bid as we carefully understand the government’s as well as an
individual customer’s needs and successfully deliver, reflecting an unbreakable trust
