SUMMARY
These compact input/output proportional HV modules were designed with for OEM applications. They are perfect for PMT, MCP
and radiation counter applications, or whenever less load regulation is required. Models below 6kV feature an voltage isolation
primary and secondary, just right for floating applications. With a wide lineup ranging from 300V to 25kV and 3W to 6W, you are
sure to find a model that is best suited to your needs.

APPLICATION NOTES
[ Normal Operation ] [ How to read output voltage and/or output current ]
· Case(blue wire), input(black wire) and output are not connected inside for models 6kV and below. A
Case, input and output wires must be connected to the earth ground for safety. U3, U6
· Case(no lead wire) and input(black wire) are connected inside for models 10kV and up. Input wire
must be connected to the earth ground for safety. Models 10kV and up has no  in below diagrams.

current meter
· C = 0.1 to 1µF pass capacitor
Rated Output · In addition to the above diagram, inserting resistor instead of

1. Make sure the connection to the HV power supply is done as per the above diagram before operation.
2. Input the specified input voltage to the power supply to control the output voltage.
3. There might be common mode noise on the output when floating operation. Impedance of Ef shall be low.
4. Turn off input voltage when ending the power supply operation.

NO T E
· These power supplies are designed and manufactured with safety of high voltage power supplies as integrated type. For extra safety, ground wiring must be done properly as
per [Normal operation] and [Operation of HV floating].
· Avoid output short circuit for long period of time.
· Do not touch the HV output wire right after turning off the power supply because there is a possibility of residue high voltage. Before touching the output wire make sure the
output voltage is low enough, or wait for 20 minutes. When there is a capacitive load or load is open, discharge the load before touching the output as it can take a long time
before the output voltage becomes low enough.
