Is medicine a science ?

Medicine is what helps or heals. From time immemorial, man has been struggling to
control disease. Medicine has advanced with the progress of science. cause the
study of disease requires the aid of science.
Medicine is the branch of health science and it is supposed to be a scientific
study.
Also it has always involved skills we recognise as scientific methods: doctors make
observations, record their results, look for patterns and etc.
As well as basic science knowledge can enhance clinical diagnosis skills, and
integration of such information in clinical decision-making using scientific
approach can enhance patient care.

But Unlike physics or chemistry, medicine is not a pure science. When we call it
an applied science, it means that only principles of pure science are applied in
medicine.
Also scientific truths are not true for all times
That's why
Physicians need the skills to evaluate the quality of content that they are
incorporating to their expanding medical knowledge database.
medical and scientific knowledge must be applied appropriately to be effective.
