Health Care

And
Evidence Based Practice

Abstract
Outcome from the health care like survival, life quality etc. are the results of the
interaction between the patients, the treatment provided to him and the health care system.
Research in health care may identify superior interventions but their dissemination and changing
the behavior of health care providers is challenging. In this paper we explore the importance of
health care research and its impact on evidence based practices. Health care deals with the way
how to treat a particular illness in a much better way. Its only purpose is to make the patient feel
better and to provide direct benefits to the patients. While on the other hand heath research deals
with the learning and to improve the current treatments.

Introduction
With the advancement of scientific technology and scientific efforts to disseminate new
knowledge placed the health care professionals in a new challenging position to keep themselves
abreast of the state of science. The decision making approach in health care practice is the most
difficult and complex task and the decision is based on best level of scientific evidence. Health
care practice should be guided by best available evidence which can be generated through well
designed clinical research.
