Brief Description of what the script does Scheduled / Manual
runs every Thursday 12PM local time and checks if macos update exist. If
exist, download the update, then notify user that update is available and
must be installed. Script will give user freedom to choose to update Now
or Later. Choosing Now will then notify user to save and close all work Scheduled
within a 10 minute countdown, then will force restart the machine to
install the update. If user chooses to defer the update, user will get
reminded again after 1 hour. User can defer up to 5 times.
It consists of 2 scripts. First one runs at 6:45 AM to parse through event Scheduled
viewer to check for any replication warning / error in the last 24 hours and
place it in a csv. Second script runs at 7:00 counts the numers of errors and
warning. After comiling the list, it sends out email to the IT tea,
List if provided by Cheryl and its is uploaded to DRA Manual
