ABSTRACK

The need to communicate from the top management level to the middle to lower or
operational levels to be more effective requires an in-depth study to find effective
communication solutions in various lines of the RSDH organization in order to reduce the
internal communication gap. The purpose of this study is to describe more deeply the
effectiveness of organizational communication in improving the image of RSDH. The
concept used in this study is internal communication proposed by Trajkova, Andonov &
Mihajloski, 2014 that internal communication consists of three dimensions, namely vertical,
horizontal, and diagonal communication. . The research paradigm used is positivism, the
approach used is quantitative, and the research method used is descriptive. The population in
this study were all employees, totalling 507 people, to determine the sample size, 30% of the
total population was taken so 155 people were used as respondents. The sampling technique
was carried out by probability sampling by random sampling. Data collection was used
through the field observation stage, distributing questionnaires, in-depth interviews,
documentation, library studies, and internet searches to obtain relevant information and data.
The data analysis technique uses a frequency distribution table formula where the results of
data processing are distributed into a single table form to be analysed qualitatively. The
results showed that RSDH's internal communication was quite effective it could improve the
image of RSDH. The finding of this study is a collaborative communication model because
the development of technology has a strong influence on the image of RSDH.

KATA PENGANTAR
Puji dan syukur kami panjatkan ke hadirat Allah SWT, atas karuniaNya lah laporan
penelitian selesai pada waktunya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi
pengembangan ilmu komunikasi, khususnya komunikasi organisasi yang menghubungkan
berbagai elemen atau unsur-unsur dalam organisasi sehingga membangun ruang komunikasi
dan keterbukaan dalam mendistribusikan informasi atau pesan-pesan, baik secara vertikal,
horisontal maupun diagonal juga menghubungkam proses komunikasi eksternal melalui
komunikasi publik dan komunikasi pemasaran produk dan jasa pelayanan Kesehatan
sehingga dapat berjalan secara efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan citra RSDH menjadi
Rumah sakit rujukan.
Tim peneliti menyadari bahwa hasil penelitian ini, mungkin jauh dari sempurna, oleh
karena itu, kami berharap menerima masukan atau saran guna melengkapi hasil penelitian ini.
