Assignment:

Answer the following questions. Rubrics: Organization and content – 20 points each.

1. Conduct an interview among your family and friends about what they think are the contributions of
women, LGBTQ+, and men in the world of work. Write down a brief report of their responses.

- Women and LGBTQ+ people make valuable contributions to our society; tremendous progress has
been made in securing their human rights. However, there is still more work to be done to make things
better, some initiatives to promote gender inclusion in organizations actually mask discrimination
against women, and many issues facing the LGBTQ+ community have their roots in frameworks that
anti-discrimination laws encourage.

2. As an adolescent who may soon be initiated to the world of work, how do you think you will
manage to succeed in the career of your choice? Do you think your gender identity will have an
influence on your work of choice? Why/why not? How?

- My career choice is being a politician, in my option, this will be a great option as I think that this is in
line with my course. You can also be successful depending on your position but considering my father’s
connection, I won’t have any problem with that. Being bisexual and wanting to be a politician when I
graduate, I think some discrimination will still be there because we can’t really avoid it but I think when I
prove myself, the discrimination will stop. I’ll just focus on what I have to do and not let any of it get in
my head.
