1. Safety rules when operating the electric motorcycle
LIBERTY
Riding an electric bike involves a certain amount of risk and high danger. In order to
minimize the risk, we kindly ask you to adhere to the Traffic Laws and to follow basic safety
requirements related to the specifics of riding an electric bike. It should be understood,
however, that there are no precautions that could eliminate each and every risk. We
recommend the use of dedicated safety equipment for driving at night. The main feature of such
accessories are the LED lights built into them.
Remember that brakes lose some of their effectiveness in wet weather, so always
consider this when driving. Also remember that wet roads are more slippery than dry ones, so
when driving on wet or damp roads keep your speed under control, avoid sudden maneuvers
and sudden braking. Be especially careful when passing railroad or streetcar tracks, driving on
metal surfaces, and when passing road markings, which are especially slippery in wet weather.

5. Description of controls.
- Throttle, Denzel standard 5V hall sensor throttle, you can also use any other 5V hall sensor
throttle.
- Analog electronic brake. Adjustable electronic braking and recuperation system. When the
trigger is pressed, the motor switches to the “generator” mode and slows down the moped,
simultaneously charging the battery with regenerative current. By changing the angle of inclination of
the trigger handle, the braking force and, accordingly, the recuperation current change.
- Cruise control button. Turns Cruise Control on and off. This feature is being tested and will be
available from 2023.
- PARKING button. This function provides additional safety when operating the moped. When
you turn on the moped, the PARKING function is automatically activated. To remove the moped from
the Parking lot, just press the button once. At the same time, the parking indicator “P” will turn off on
the display screen. If you press this button again, the function will be activated again. The Trigger
located under the moped seat is responsible for the operation of this function. If you disable this
Trigger, the parking function will not be available and the bike will work in normal mode.
9
STEERING COLUMN – LEFT SIDE:
- Light switcher - three-position light switch - turns on the "parking" (daylight), the LED
low beam headlight. We strongly recommend driving with daylight on even during daylight
hours.
- High beam switch - switches the headlight from low beam to high beam. Be careful and
turn on your high beams only when necessary, this will help save energy on your battery, as well
as increase the safety of road users by avoiding dazzling them.
- Turn signal switcher - This switch turns on the right and left turn signals of the bike.
- Horn activation button - turns on the claxon. Your bike is equipped with a 12V standard
motorcycle horn. Be careful - use the horn only in rare cases when necessary and remember
that in many countries in certain areas - the use of the horn is strictly prohibited.
- Pass light - High beam button - "Blinker" - pressing this button turns on the high beam
10
FRONT SIDE:
- Display
Your moped is equipped with a DENZEL DSD-I display. The display shows all the necessary
standard information, as well as the battery current. The display speed can be edited - in the
display settings. For display settings, contact your nearest dealer. More details about the display

6. Indication and control system
The bike speedometer consists of three parts (screens).
Speed display
This screen displays the current speed.
REV – REVERSE
P – Parking – activated
Note: LED indicator in the center of the screen - indicates the charging status
Once charging is complete - if there were no errors during charging - the green LED will light up,
indicating that charging is complete.
Once charging is complete, you may or may not unplug the charger from the bike at your
discretion - the charger has an auto-disconnect feature.
Central part of the display
12
The current battery voltage is displayed in the upper right corner.
The current value of the battery current is displayed in the upper left part (disabled
in the settings)
In the central part of the screen there is a scale that by default displays the battery
voltage - the maximum value is 100% - corresponds to a fully charged battery - 84V.
By default, this speedometer is set to a nominal operating voltage of 72V, also by
changing the settings - the speedometer can be set to 36V, 48V, 60V, 72V, 96V, 110V
Also, the operation of this scale can be rebuilt by changing the settings and it will
display the current value of the current.
At the bottom of the screen is displayed - the distance traveled for the trip and the
total mileage.
13
7. First time power-up and system check
7.1. By default, the moped is delivered with the battery disabled by the software.
Therefore, after collecting the moped, you need to use a special APP to turn on the
battery. To do this, you can download the APP on the official website of the manufacturer.
http://www.denzel.bike/liberty.html
Or contact your nearest dealer.
On the official website you will also find a description of the program.
Attention - immediately after turning on your bike is ready to ride so be careful with the throttle!
Before switching on, make sure your bike is on level ground and the kickstand is holding the bike
securely.
7.2. Insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to the right.
Lighting test:
Steering column - left side. Turn on the light switch to the first position - "parking" or
daylight. At the same time, the front LED daytime running lamp, tail lamp and display screen
should light up. Move the switch to the second position - the headlight should turn on - low
beam.
With the low beam on, turn on the high beam with the corresponding switch - this should
turn on the high beam of the headlight, as well as the information LED on the high beam on the
display screen.
Turn off high and low beams.
Reverse button. The front of the moped. By default, your bike is set to move forward. If
you need to move backward and you need to turn on reverse, then you need to press the switch
on the front panel with the “insole down” pattern. When you turn on the reverse gear, the red
REV inscription will turn on on the display screen - which will mean that the bike is ready to
reverse. Changing the direction of movement is possible only at a complete stop. The bike is
14
equipped with automatic protection in which the bike does not stop completely - changing the
direction of movement will not turn on.
After checking the performance of all systems, you can start moving.
NOTE.
If on your bike, when checking the performance of the systems, defects or shortcomings
were revealed - please contact the nearest service center or the seller where this bike was
purchased.
1. Before using, please check all parts of the electric moped for integrity and
serviceability. Check that all moving parts of the electric scooter are tight.
2. When traveling, please follow the traffic rules and do not use the stroller for cargo.
3. Use your brakes with great care. Always apply the rear brake first and then the front
brake. Front brake braking on slippery surfaces will cause you to fall!
4. It is forbidden to put the electric moped or its parts into water.
5. Do not leave the battery in the sun or near hot objects over 60°C.
6. When charging the battery, be sure to use only the standard cable designed for
charging from AC 84V - 220V, supplied with the electric moped.
7. Do not leave the battery discharged for more than 1 week
8. It is necessary to charge the battery at least once a month, regardless of its use.
9. Standard battery charging time is 3-4 hours. The first charge time can be up to 4
hours. You need to charge the battery until the indicator on the charger turns green (or the
indicator on the display).
10. It is forbidden to disassemble batteries, electric motors, control systems and other
complex parts of an electric moped on your own - if necessary, contact the seller's service
center (contact information is indicated in the warranty card).
11. For safety reasons, do not allow people who do not know how to operate models
with an electric motor to use the electric motor.
12. The battery of the electric scooter is absolutely safe for the environment during
operation, however, for safety reasons, please do not throw the used batteries into the trash
can, they need to be disposed of. For disposal, please contact the service center of the seller's
company (contact information is indicated in the warranty card).
15
9 Start to drive
ATTENTION! We strongly recommend that before turning on the electric moped - get
on it and get ready to ride. We do not recommend turning on the electric moped before you
sit on it.
In order to bring the bike into the on state, you must double-click on the lightning bolt
icon on the remote control.
Make sure that you have SPORT mode turned off, as well as the high beam headlights
(see above - controls)
Make sure the footrest of the moped is in the folded position. A special waterproof
sensor is installed in the footboard. If the footrest of the moped is in the open state, then the
signal from the parking sensor goes to the controller and blocks the engine, and the parking
indicator “P” is also on the display screen
In order to set the electric moped in motion (when the electric moped is on), it is
enough to turn the “throttle” handle, the movement should be smooth and without jerks.
You can control the movement with the throttle and brakes only.
NOTE:
On mopeds with an asynchronous motor, the Anti-Slope function can be activated. When
this function is activated, your bike will not be able to move in the opposite direction to the
selected one. For example - if you have forward motion (FRW) turned on - then the bike
cannot roll back - the engine will resist. This is useful when you need to stop on a slope (traffic
light or intersection) - and then start moving again, so in order not to keep the bike constantly
on the brake and then it is difficult to start moving - you just stop using this function - no
matter what slope, and then turn the throttle again and your bike will go.
If you need to move back, but this function interferes with you, then you can do the
following:
1. Press the reverse button and calmly move the bike back to the desired distance or
drive in reverse.
2. Turn off the bike and simply move back the desired distance.
3. Disable this feature. We do not recommend doing this. But if you do not like the
operation of this function or you cannot get used to it and it causes you inconvenience, then
this function can be disabled through the software - for this, contact any service center - This
service is free.
16
10. Driving range and driving modes
The range of an electric moped is not constant, it ranges from 80 km to 120 km - the
range depends on the driving style, terrain and weather conditions and the type of tire
chosen. The mileage is affected by the total mass (the weight of the electric moped, the
weight of the rider, the weight of the cargo carried on the trunk), the type of road surface
(asphalt, concrete, gravel, crushed stone, etc.), the terrain (uphill, downhill, plain), wind
speed and direction relative to the direction of travel (headwind, or vice versa, tailwind),
atmospheric air temperature (battery capacity decreases in cold weather), battery charge
level, driving style (for example, start speed, braking intensity, etc.). etc., tire pressure, etc.
In order to increase the range, we strongly recommend using the coasting advantage.
You also need to remember that a sharp start and high speed - increase battery consumption
- which leads to a decrease in driving range.
Your electric moped has two modes of operation and two directions of movement
The ECO mode is the normal mode of operation of the bike, while the bike has low
power consumption, smooth acceleration, and limited speed.
"Sport" mode - the bike has an increased energy consumption, but has a sharp start
and high speed (the maximum value of which is limited by existing legislation)
Keep an eye on tire pressure - as mileage can be greatly reduced on "flat tires"
11 BRAKE CONTROL
The front brake lever is located on the steering column on the right side of the
steering wheel. There brake lever – is foot brake. The classic approach: you must always
start braking with the rear brake, you only need to slow down with the front brake. But on
your bike, by default, the recuperation system is enabled - during which the "electronic"
braking of the bike occurs. Recovery (braking) occurs smoothly with increasing force (the
longer you hold the throttle, the stronger the braking). This setting can be changed, as well
as change the strength of the "electronic" braking and the reaction time of the "electronic"
braking. In this case, to start braking - you only need to slightly press the front brake lever -
and you will immediately feel the start of the "electronic" braking system, then you can use
the classic approach to braking described above.
NOTE:
When the brake sensors are turned on (when any of the “brakes” is pressed), the
throttle stick is turned off, READY goes out on the display screen and BRK lights up. You
cannot move - to start moving again - you must release the brake lever.
17
