SRI RAM TEMPLE CONSTRUCTION REESTABLISHMENT OF NATIONALSELFRESPECT
"Raamo Vigrahvaan Dharmah"- Sri Ram is Dharma incarnate. He is the soul and spirit of Bharat. The grand Sri Ram Temple on Sri Ram Janmabhoomi became the perpetual inspiration of Bharatiya consciousness. Ram Bhaktas relentlessly fought from the year 1528 in 76 battles sacrificing more than 400,000 lives for the reconstruction of a grand Temple at His birth place. The battle intensified from 1984 in a well organized and mobilised campaign. The Hindu society rose as one person, rising above ditterences of caste, class, language, sects, regions, etc. made unequalled sacrifices and achieved success. Though a matter of faith, it got entangled in the long drawn processes of courts of law for about 70 years. Finally, aa Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court unanimously declared on 9" November 2019 that "This 14,000 square feet ofland belongs to Ramlala." Truth prevailed. Shraddha and faith triumphed on the basis of conclusive evidence. In the mean time, Shri Kameshwar Chaupal, a Scheduled Caste Hindu laid the foundation of the grand Temple at the Janmabhomi on 9 November 1989 in the presence of revered Sant-Fraternity and other social-political leaders. The Government of Bharat formed a Trust namely 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra' (RJBTK) and handed over the 70 acres of acquired land to the Trust on 5" February 2020. Sri Ram Lala shifted from the tarpaulin temple to take seat in His new temporary wooden temple on 25 March 2020. The divine moment of history came on S August 2020. It became the day of fulfilment of a struggle of 492 years and the dreams of the martyrs and others who had fought for the cause. Pujya Mahant Nritya Gopal Das Ji, President of the Trust presided Over the ceremonies. The great saints representing various schools of spirituality were present. Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Pujya Sarsanghchalak of RSS, Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon'ble Prime Minister along with Pujya Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Utar Pradesh were present on the dais. Earlier, they performed the Bhoomi Poojan and participated in the construction of the Temple. Holy waters and sacred earth had been brought from more than 3000 holy rivers and ponds and from Temples and Teerth Sthans (Holy Places). It came from all parts of Bharat including remote places in forests and hills and was contributed by the entire Society comprising of all caste and creeds. Some dust from the homes of the martyred Karsevaks was also brought for the construction of the Temple. This became as if the holiness and spirituality of the entire Bharat had assembled in Ayodhya to witness, to participate and to become a part ofthe Temple to be built. The revered saints called upon, that along with the construction of the Temple at Ayohdya, a temple must come alive in the hearts of all Hindus; and endeavour to emulate and practice the life-values imbibed by Sri Ram. Shri Ram had travelled barefoot in forests and jungles for 14 years. He reached out to all, iIrespective of their caste, education or vocation. He cordially embraced the brethren considered to be deprived and ignored, gave them we-teeling and asense of belonging. He gave reverence as to a father to Jatayu. He visited Ahilya Ashram and restored the grace and dignity of womanhood. He fought and finished the global terrorism by vanquishing Asuras and restored the rule of Tighteousness. Ram Rajya was an ideal state where everyone was provided with the necessities of decent life, education, care. All the citizens followed the rules of Dharma and lived with a feeling of fraternity. ACall for Contribution Daan is an ancient characteristic of the enduring and timeless Bharatiya society. As per this holy tradition, the "Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra" urges and calls upon the whole society to generously and open-handedly extend its pious contributions for the construction of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple atAyodhya. Emulating the tiny squirrel of Ramayana fame which cooperated in its small way - if not in King Size way - in the construction of the Ram Setu for the Ram's Army to cross the seas to Lanka; let's all contribute, as much as we can, to the divine and national Yagna of construction of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. It is said that "Life means -Giving even by bits and specks, giving even by moments and days; the motive by which one contributes is what determines one's Punya in the divine scheme of things".
