Children are going to the washroom from different classes and martin a big boy is coming from the
toilet he trips a small boy who falls down crying and Martin run away laughing .

Cut to:

Teacher James is talking to some students outside in a science lesson as they observe plants and
insects then Tim a young child come crying towards them.

Teacher James

What is it Tim?

The boy points towards the direction of the toilets

The teacher looks at his feet and he is bleeding, other children in the science class tell the teacher
that it is Martin who is supposed to be in that class but had gone to the toilet.

Flashback

We see in class martin ask for permission to go out to the toilet and teacher james ask him if he is
having a problem as that is the second time within a period of ten minutes, he though keeps quiet
and the teacher gives the permission.

Cut back to the scene outside

The teacher ask one of the bigger kids to take the small child to the nurse and instructs the others to
go to class

The teacher goes towards the toilets but martin after seeing the teacher coming runs away to the
field.

Cut to deputies office

Teacher James is the deputy and is in his office as one student after the other enter in an
investigation

Child 1: we were playing in the field and he pushed me down just because I took the ball from him

Child 2: He saw me coming from the dining hall and he started chasing me

Child 3: He does not stay in class for more than ten minutes before asking to go to the toilet

Child 4: he can practically go hitting everyone on his head with a stick

Cut to

Two teachers and the deputy

Teacher 1

We need to call his parents to the school

Teacher 2

The boy needs to be expelled not even suspended , I don’t see the need of calling his parents

James

Cool down teachers we are not going to do any of those …(he continuous to speak but we cant hear
what he is saying ) fade out

Cut to classroom

Teacher James walk in holding Martins hand

James

This child is a good boy can you clap for him

They do not clap but the teacher start clapping and they all do

I want to make him the environment prefect , his work will be to make sure that the compound is
clean and we all don’t litter …………

We see martin moving around the compound and he tells others to pick papers in the compound as
he also do pick them. Then we see him play with others in the field.

Martin with the small child he tripped earlier on …

Child narrator 1 : Martin was a case of lack of love at home , his parents were always busy travelling
on business trips and the person taking care of him at home used to beat him.

Child narrator 2: That in itself taught him violence and to express his anger and pain inside he was
fighting everyone in school,

Child narrator 3: Thanks to God that our school has a counsellor who discover the whole problem
that Martin was going through.

All children:

Its not always what you think it is

Somethings are hidden deep in our hearts and mind

And require love to bring them out

Let us always love each other

And play together as children

Children are seen playing together

Speech

We have learnt many things this term that include poetry , storytelling , acting for TV and film, News
anchoring and news writing. We have also made our own film and we are so eager to see it after the
editing is done.

Gifted kids is fun especially the open mic section where we have to go research and get poems ,
mimes and monologues and perform in front of the other students one by one. This does not only
make us active but also boast our creativity as we look for items and try to be unique.
