I will tell you the best Christmas memory I have.

I was 20 years old and on that occasion we
celebrated it together with my family at my uncle
jose's farm.
We all participated in the decoration of the house
and the preparation of the New Year's dinner on
December 31st.
I helped prepare the lechona (pork stuffed with rice
and peas) and the others made buñuelos (cheesy
fritters) and natillla (which is a set custard.)
we were dancing, singing and we got drunk.
Last but not least, at midnight we burn a human-
sized rag doll stuffed with fireworks, we call it “año
Viejo”
We toast with aguardiente and wish everybody a
“happy new year.”
1-How many days did you have on Christmas
vacation?
I was on vacation for a week.
2-Why was the best Christmas vacation?
That was the best Christmas and New Year's Eve
party, because it was the first time I was celebrating
outside the city.
What activity did you do most often?
I stayed all day in the pool
What was the typical Christmas food that you liked
the most?
without a doubt the “lechona"
