SCOPE WORK FOR SERVICE AND CALIBRATION OF GAS

DETECTION SYSTEM AT AEON BIG STORE

GAS DETECTOR PANEL :-

Introduction :

This is the important unit of gas detection system. It located at every site that use gas detector. The functionality of
this unit is to measure gas detector reading, alarm activation, alarm acknowledge and cut off gas using solenoid
valve.

Scope of work :

1) Physically check the panel including alarm indicator, buzzer, flashing light and pipe installation.
2) We test the panel include check incoming power and alarm activation to make sure alarm event in good
condition and functioning well.

Estimated time : 10 – 15 mins (no interruption for gas flow and shop operation).

GAS DETECTOR :-
Introduction :

This unit that have function with a sensor to detect leaking gas. It has an electronic part called amplifier PCB and
plug in sensor module (LPG/NG).

Scope of work :

1) Physically check the gas detector including place of installation, flexible conduit and pipe installation.
2) We test the gas detector using calibration gas cylinder until alarm activated at gas detector panel.

Estimated time : 10 – 15 mins (no interruption for gas flow and shop operation).

SOLENOID VALVE :-
Introduction :

The functionality of this unit is to cut off gas when alarm triggered. There are 2 type of solenoid
valve, Normally Close (NC) always energize power 12VDC, 24VDC or 240VDC. When alarm, power
will turn off and solenoid valve will cut gas. Normally Open (NA) No power energize in normal
condition. When alarm, power will turn on and solenoid valve will cut off gas.

Scope of work :

1) Physically check the solenoid valve including reset button, coil head and pipe installation.
2) We test the unit by give gas detector and panel alarm and make sure solenoid valve cut off gas.
