Subject: Application for different credit facilities against Work Order

TechnoLab instruments, a proprietorship concern owned by the undersigned, was founded in

2010 and since then it has secured expertise in multifarious sectors like of Toxicology (Dope test
instruments), Forensic science, environmental science, healthcare, broadcasting (radio & TV
transmitter etc. Some of our valued clients are:

It is our pleasure to inform you that lately we have been awarded a work order by the “Water
Quality Testing Management Strengthening Project, Department of Public Health Engineering”
for “Supply & installation of different kinds of Laboratory Equipment at Zonal/District
Laboratory under Water Quality Testing Management Strengthening Project of DPHE. (FY-
2021-2022) of package no. Goods-06. B Lot No.1 under DPHE for a contract price of Tk.
255,451,912.98 (Taka Twenty-five crore fifty-four lacs fifty one thousand nine hundred twelve
and paisa ninety eight only)

Against the above-mentioned work order we have already submitted a Bank Guarantee for
Performance Security for Tk. 2,55,45,200 (Copy attached).

Now, to complete the work order, we need a composite credit facility from your esteemed bank
in the following manner:
1. 10 nos. of Letter of Credit for US$ 204,261.00, US$ 210,662.40, US$ 9360.00, US$
59,676.00, US$ 26,315.00, US$ 22,788.00, US$ 15,444.00 US$ 16,575.00, US$

 20,188.00, US$ 39,000.00 ang GBP 134,424.30 in equivalent to BDT 9.50 crore
[ approximately]at 10% cash margin [proforma invoices are attached]
2. 90 (ninety) days TR/Time Loan to retire the above L/C for BDT 8.50 crore
3. 03 (three) months’ Time Loan for Tk. 3.00 crore for duty payment and local procurement
of Air-condition and UPS

Against the above credit facilities, we are offering the following securities:
1. 10% margin in the form of FDR
2. Assignment of bills against the said work order
3. Personal Guarantee of the Proprietor
4. Registered Mortgage with RIGPA of an apartment at Bashundhara R/A valuing Tk.
2.00 crore (approx.) owned by Mr. Md. Abdus Salam, proprietor of Technolab
Instruments.
5. Registered Mortgage with RIGPA of 10 decimal landed property at Khailpukur,
Board Bazar, Gazipur valuing Tk. 2.00 crore (approx.) owned by Mr. Md. Abdus
Salam, proprietor of Technolab Instruments.

Please note that at any point of time the total outstanding including funded and non-funded
facilities will not exceed Tk. 10.00 crore out of which funded facility will not exceed Tk. 5.00
crore.

It is pertinent to mention here that Technolab Instruments and its sister concerns owned by the
undersigned have long successful experience of working with different government, non-
government and autonomous organizations. A list of already completed work orders is attached
herewith for your ready reference.

Considering the above, we would like to request your good office to allow us the above-
mentioned credit facilities so that we can complete the work order in time.
