Speak with the teacher first before contacting the principal (or dean). The first question the principal (dean) will ask is if you spoke with the teacher about the matter, and if you didnt it will reflect negatively on your part. Follow procedures and give the teacher a chance to remedy the situation first .

NOTES to PARENTS

**SAFETY CONCERNS . . .
-For safety reasons, car riders should not be dropped off or picked up in front of the Administration Building, but on the parking lot side of their respective buildings (elementary side or middle/high school side).

**From Bus Transportation Department . . .

-Permission for a student to ride a bus other than the one assigned, or to get off at a stop other than the one assigned, should be approved only in case of an emergency by school personnel. See Code of Conduct, page 17.
**STUDENTS/TEACHERS/PARENTS: If a student calls for a parent to pick them up because they are sick, it
will be unexcused. The student must get a nurses pass from their teacher. The nurse will contact the parent after checking the student. Also, students who have to be out for appointments (doctor, dentist, therapy, etc.) must bring a slip from the doctor/dentist/therapy office for the absence tol be excused.

**Senior Class Officers Meeting: Today, Sept. 1, on the stage in the cafeteria during H/S lunch. **Boys & Girls Soccer: Conditioning after school on Tuesdays & Thursdays report to the soccer locker room in the
field house when school is dismissed.

LUNCH FOR TODAY **K-5th Grade: Choice of One- Beef Nachos. Chicken Salad, or PBJ Sandwich; Choice of Two- Fresh Pear, Fruit Cup, Tossed Salad; May Select- Yellow Rice **6th-12th Grade: Choice of above or Roasted Chicken, Bosco Sticks, Salad, or Lite Alternative

GED CLASSES @ Franklin County School


FALL CLASS DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON! The next GED Test will be given Sept. 26 & 27 at the Franklin County School library at 6:00pm.
