Geospatial Skill Development
AGI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with
India’s national survey and mapping organization, Survey
of India, for Geospatial skill development in the country.
Under this MoU, Survey of India and AGI, with its
member companies, will provide training and certificates
for various skills using latest tools to bridge the gap
between current learning outcomes and requirements of
user organizations.

Report Release: Potential of Geospatial Technologies for the Water Sector in India
AGI’s report on “Potential of Geospatial Technologies for
the Water Sector in India” was released by Mr. Rajiv Ranjan
Mishra, Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga,
through an online webinar.
The report was developed under the leadership of the AGI
Water Utilities Steering Committee, with inputs from over
60 water and geospatial technology experts from across the
country. Some key highlights of the report are as follows:
