Distinguish adjuncts from disjuncts

Adjuncts is a key or scale closely related to another as principal; a relative or attendant key for example.
They waited outside for ages. The phrase outside and for ages add extra meaning to waited. They tell us
where and for how long people waited. While, disjuncts is one multiple proposion any of which if true
confirm the validity of another propositions. For example. Canada is in North America or New York is the
biggest city in Canada.

Adjuncts can be placed in different positions within the clause that is final initial or medial while
disjuncts are placed at the beginning of a sentence and are separated from the main clause by a comma.
For example. Undoubtedly, this decision is going to backfire big time.

Adjuncts and disjuncts are both types of adverbials. Adjuncts are parts of the core meaning of a
sentence but the sentence still makes sense without them for example. They ate heartily word heartily
is adjuncts the sentence still makes sense even when removed, they ate while disjuncts are words that
stand outside the syntactic structure of a text they are commenting on. They comment on the content
or manner of what is being said or written. Honestly, I didn't do it. Meaning I'm honest when I say I
didn't do it rather than I didn't do it in an honest way
