    DEFINITIONS

    Kilowatt hour (kWh) meter – an electric meter that measures the amount of electrical

    energy in kWh that was consumed in the house; measures power used over a specific

    time

    Power factor meter – measures the power factor of an AC circuit

    Galvanometer – a deflection-type instrument used to detect weak electric currents
