1. Using an organization you are familiar with as an example, can

you think of scenarios where the three types of analytics can be
used.

a. In FINANCE
- In finance, financial reports are simply the example of descriptive
analytics where you are gathering all the financial inputs of the
company and putting it together in order to make a report.
Predictive Analytics can be also used through predicting the data
where you are going to forecast the trend sales given by the nest
few months. Lastly, the Feasibility of the Project is an example of
Prescriptive Analytics where all the various inputs of the feasibility
including the cost, location of the project, and who are your
partners are.

b. In HUMAN RESOURCE
- Diversity Analysis is an example of Descriptive Analytics which
it shows where all the employees come from and what are their
past schools. In Predictive Analytics, it is the Forecasting the
Employee Resignation where it predicts on how many of its
employee are going to resign and what are their reasons on
resigning the company. Last is the Prescriptive Analytics, the best
example of Prescriptive Analytics in Human Resource is the
Employee Engagement which it shows on how to make the
employees happy in order to stay and contented to their job.
