DOCUMENT CHECKLIST

 An Independent Organization with date of establishment and explanation of

its activities and objects
 Organization should be established for minimum 3 years continuously with a
legal status including organization's constitution and state or territory
incorporation certificate, ASIC or ABN registration so that its growth and
structure is known
 Organization must have considerable number of members (management
structure)
 Organization must have significant need for marriage celebrants for each
congregation (an assembly of persons) and its size
 Confirmation regarding acceptance and recognition by each congregation
 Explanation and evidence of the organization's past and anticipated future
need
 explanation of the organization's procedures for ensuring ministers
nominated as authorized celebrants meet their obligations under the
Marriage Act and Marriage Regulations in relation to the solemnization of
marriages
 A copy of the form of wedding ceremony
 Form should be submitted with the application
