What Is a Product?
Product is anything that can be offered in a market for attention, acquisition, use, or
consumption that might satisfy a need or want.
Service is a product that consists of activities, benefits, or satisfactions and that is
essentially intangible and does not result in the ownership of anything.
The first of these seven marketing principles is product. A product can be defined as
simply an item that addresses a consumer's wants or needs.
A product is any item or service you sell to serve a customer's need or want. They can
be physical or virtual. Physical products include durable goods (like cars, furniture, and
computers) and nondurable goods (like food and beverages).
