We as an institution proudly participate and follow the sustainability
development goal set by the united nations . Today i would like to speak about
Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls . Gender
equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for
a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. Even though we have not
complety achieved this let's not look at the negitives and
Move ahead with the positive.
When women are given the right tools to succeed, they can create incredible
futures, not only for themselves but also for those around them.
. International Women’s Day (IWD) – 8th March is a day to appreciate women in
your lives and also acknowledge their success, contributions and achievements.
It is a day of hope and reflection ; and a celebration of gender parity in all walks
of life. The day to acknowledge women strength, patience, inner strength and
courage. International Women’s Day encourages people to actively choose to
“challenge stereotypes, broaden perceptions, fight bias, improve situations and
celebrate women’s achievements. Earlier, the role of women was limited to
household chores. Everyone, including some women, was brought up to believe
that the role of women is limited to the tasks. Due to this belief, women didn’t
go out to work or thought about going for work However, this thought changed
after a few decades because women started trying different things. Women
began realizing that they, too, can have careers and a future. More and more
women began taking up jobs and worked in many sectors of the economy The
scenery of the world for women has changed over time and decades. It has
mainly happened due to the efforts of all the women in the past. Now, there is
no space where women aren’t working and excelling at what they are doing.
Women manage a number of things at the same time.
Women are being given equal opportunities at work. They are given the
freedom to move ahead of the opposite gender. Women are running ahead of
men and leading their respective companies in the direction of success .I'm
proud to be me a women and let's celebrate womehood. So let's raise our
