Accenture plc is an Irish-American professional services


company based in Dublin, specializing in information
technology (IT) services and consulting. A Fortune Global
500 company, it reported revenues of $61.6 billion in 2022.
From its establishment in 1989 until its incorporation in 2001,
Accenture, then known as Andersen Consulting, was a
separate legal entity from Arthur Andersen and operated
independently from that company. We provide innovative and
comprehensive services and solutions that span cloud;
systems integration and application management; security;
intelligent platform services; infrastructure services; software
engineering services; data and artificial intelligence; and
global delivery through our Advanced Technology Centers.
Accenture revenue for the twelve months ending February
28, 2023 was $63.144B, a 11.38% increase year-over-year.
Accenture annual revenue for 2022 was $61.594B, a 21.89%
increase from 2021. Accenture annual revenue for 2021 was
$50.533B, a 14% increase from 2020.
Fortune magazine named Accenture one of the 100 Best
Companies to Work For from 2009 to 2022; rating it sixth in
2022. In 2021, Accenture was ranked No. 258 on the Fortune
Global 500 list. In 2021 and 2022, Fortune named it as the
world's most admired Information Technology Services
company.
The company was financially struggles due to covid-19
and Russia Ukraine war. So, United States and United
Kingdom were faced financial problems. Actually, Accenture
clients are in United States and United Kingdom. So they
were in recession so that they did not provide any projects to
the company. So the company have less and very minimal
projects and the revenues were reduced from the actual
values. That’s the reason the company is financially struggles
so they want to lay-off 19,000 employees. It may lead to
reducing the financial problems and they do have not enough
projects to work that’s why they fired 19,000 employees. The
19,000 posts announced so far are 2.5 percent of the total.
