Maria and Marie were two sisters who lived in a small village by the sea.

Maria was the

older sister, and she was known throughout the village for her beautiful singing voice.
Marie was younger, but she had a talent for painting that was just as impressive.

Despite their different talents, the sisters were very close. They spent most of their days
together, singing and painting by the sea. They loved nothing more than to sit on the
beach and watch the waves crashing against the shore.

One day, a group of travelers came to the village. They were a wealthy family, and they
had come to commission a painting from Marie. Marie was thrilled at the opportunity,
but Maria was a bit jealous. She wished that she had something that was as valuable as
her sister's talent.

As the days passed, Marie worked on the painting, while Maria struggled to find her
own path. She tried to write songs, but nothing came out right. She tried to paint, but
her strokes were awkward and clumsy.

One evening, as the sisters were walking along the beach, they saw a group of dolphins
leaping in the water. Maria began to sing, and as she did, the dolphins swam closer and
closer to shore, entranced by her beautiful voice.

Marie was inspired by her sister's singing, and she painted a picture of the dolphins that
was so lifelike, it seemed as if they might leap right off the canvas. The wealthy family
was so impressed with Marie's work that they offered to buy it for a large sum of
money.

But instead of accepting the offer, the sisters decided to donate the painting to the
village. It now hangs in the local museum, a testament to the talents of both Maria and
Marie, and a reminder that sometimes the most valuable things in life are the ones that
can't be bought.
