Reflection Paper 2
Write a reflection paper covering Architecture. Get an architectural design either local or
international and discuss it according to your preference and the reason for choosing this
building. Format: Arial 12, 1.5 spacing, justified, 1 in margin on all sides, maximum of 2 pages.

Architecture entails taking the most fundamental design

principles and combining them in a way that is both artistic
and functional. We've constructed towers that reach heights
beyond our wildest dreams. All of this would not have been
feasible without an architect who dared to dream big and
came up with creative ways to leverage every piece of
technology at their disposal.
Some may claim that the architect's only responsibility is
to ensure that the design and aesthetics are pleasing, or, to
put it another way, that the building is attractive enough. In
truth, the architect is in charge of every aspect of their design
from start to finish. An architect must guarantee that the structure is both visually pleasing
and functionally complete. Throughout the procedure, the architect is present.

Architecture has always been a means of communicating a community's values as

well as its deep and rich cultural legacy, and it has influenced our culture in many ways.
The Moguls, with their domes, the English with their castles, and the French with their
villas are just a few examples. Each civilization's architecture allows them to convey their
tale and express themselves for many years to come.

Architecture used to be predominantly made of stone, gravel, and bricks, but things
have changed with the development of modern architecture, which now uses steel, glass,
and reinforced concrete as primary materials. With their innovative and outlandish designs
and ingenuity, architects may now build new and innovative concepts, push limits, and
explore new frontiers.

Zuellig building is one of many world-class architectures here in the Philippines. It’s is
33 story that is located at Makati City. This building is very useful and helpful with our
environment their glass panels have a low emissivity coating that lessen the heat and
energy lost. U. S Green Building Council certificated them the “Platinum-level LEED”
which is the highest certification that is given to green structures, because of their green
architecture , resource efficient building operation and sustainable construction.
