E-portfolio Y1-Block 4-Connection “Organization in Action”

E-portfolio: Connection IB Specialization “Organization in action”

You will work in a preferably internationally operating organization for three days a week. Your tasks should
involve having contact with various departments/actors inside or outside of the company. In addition to this, or
as a final product of your daily task(s) you will implement an activity or task that requires interaction with the
various departments/actors. Examples of this could be:

- Any marketing activities, such as:

 developing promotional materials,
 adding content to a website and/or social media,
 translating content for website/social media
- Order processing with links to sales and logistics
- Customer service tasks:
 answering phone calls/emails from customers, with links
to sales/marketing/technical services/logistics
- Helping in organizing events/trade fairs for an export department

The exact deliverable is very much dependent on the type of organization you will be working for and what
demands they have. Preferably before you commence the discovery internship, you have aligned with the
company tutor and your business coach on the exact task you will implement. However, the specialization
assignment can also be a (partly) implementation of the IB Opportunity advice.
