How do I order a gown/academic dress?

You should arrange to wear the correct gown & hood for the ceremony. These must be hired from
the official University Robemaker, Ede & Ravenscroft.

You should ensure that you choose the correct gown & hood from their website.

You can do this before you receive your degree results. You must arrange gown hire at least two
weeks before the ceremony.

When is the deadline for Registration?

The deadline for students to register for Graduation is 28th October.

The registration task is available on eVision. It is located within the ‘Graduation’ tab on the home
page. If you do not have the task, please email graduation@dundee.ac.uk
Can I have more than 2 tickets for my friends and family?
If spare tickets are available, they will be issued on a first come, first served basis when you collect
your tickets on the week of graduation (please refer to the ticket collection times). Students cannot
request extra tickets before this. As we expect ceremonies to be very busy, spare tickets will be
limited.

Will the ceremonies be live-streamed?

Yes, the ceremonies will be livestreamed on YouTube and accessible to any family and friends who
may not be able to attend. The livestream will show as soon as the ceremony begins.

When will I receive tickets for my friends and/or family?

We will issue eVouchers for our Graduation ceremonies. We will send you an email containing the
number of tickets, that you requested during the Graduation Registration Task, one week before
your ceremony.

You must exchange this eVoucher for your guest tickets during the week of Graduation. Someone
can collect these tickets on your behalf, they would just need your eVoucher.

The ticket exchange times are as follows:

ceremony day from the Caird Hall, but please only do this if you are not able to collect them from
Bonar Hall on the 15th or 16th of November.

When do I Collect my Seating Ticket?

desk in the Marryat Hall (inside the Caird Hall) where staff from your school will be at hand to check
you in and hand you your seating ticket. You should make sure that you are seated at least 30 mins
before the start of the ceremony. Ushers will be at hand to direct you to where you need to go.
