There is no doubting what e-business may provide to people, such as the ability to purchase
items swiftly and effectively. However, firms which e-business is the driven operation factor
have had to face difficult problems and tend to be hard to overcome. (Istianingsih et al., 2022)
stated that, the rise of e-commerce is creating fraud activities. Moreover, the accessibility and
global reach, but lack of guardians of e-commerce, has led to money transaction fraud
happened, not only to the buyers but sellers as well, (Istianingsih et al., 2022 as cited in Chuck,
2002). Due to fraud and scamming behavior, the trust of buyers and sellers in general will be
severely affected. Contradictory opinions can be raised as the two sides of the customer and the
business argue. There is no right and wrong to this situation, because the security factor in e-
business market is still too loose, so fraud still happen. Commonly seen threats such as hackers,
eavesdropping, viruses, wiretaps, etc. has showed that the business lack of operation
understanding, security, and building trust among customers. (Senthil Velmurugan, 2009 as
cited in Alan & William, 2002), submitting personal information online would depends on the
confidence level of doing so. That being said, customers decision to buy or use need to have
some level of trust and familiar to the seller and the process. The beauty of e-business is the
convenience it provides to customers and firms, but in certain instances, this system is not as
flawless as promised. Because e-business is so unexpected, the risks and deficiencies can be
long-lasting and difficult to recover from.
