BISTEK TAGALOG

Bistek Tagalog are word from Spanish: bistec which known as beef steak. But in tagalog word

they called bistek or karne frita. It is a Filipino dish consisting of thinly-sliced beefsteak braised

in soy sauce, calamansi juice, garlic, ground black pepper, and onions cut into rings. This dish

origin from Philippines it is a main course and common dish in Philippines.

Mise En Place

Ingredients: White Onion large 2pcs cut into rings

Beef sirloin ½ Cooking oil 1 Tbsp

Soy sauce ¼ c Lemon 2 pcs

Minced garlic 1 tsp Salt and Pepper to taste


GROUP 1: LABORATORY EXERCISE

As much as possible we cooperate to each other and helping each other to make sure our

activity is smooth and no problem. We make sure that our kitchen is clean before we start the

laboratory. And we wash the ingredients utensils everything that we need for the laboratory.
Procedure:

After we boil the beef we thinly-sliced and set aside. Then we prepared our ingredients

for the bistek tagalog. Then we put the soy sauce, ground black pepper, squeeze the lemon and

marinate for 1 hour.

This is the techniques on how we cook the bistek tagalog.
