Sydney,NSW | The Canberra Kookaburras spoiled the Sydney
party as the Blues played at the new Allianz Dome for the
very first time. The Kookaburra's winning an overtime
thriller 20-17.

The new Allianz Dome is a wonderful building for sport and

is the new premier venue for the NSL. But it was the
visitors who got off to a hot start and Robbie Vaivai
found rookie Campbell Saunders over the middle for the
games opening score. It was a great catch by Campbell who
had to split both safeties and simply went after a ball
that needed plenty of courage to catch.
