Narrative Report on “Seminar – Workshop on Pili


Propagation and Nursery Management and By –
Products”

The first week of December was set to schedule the 5 – day event for the “Seminar –
Workshop on Pili Propagation and Nursery Management and By – Products.” The event was all
about the proper step by step propagation, management of the nursery and the pili by – products
that can also be considered as profitable. On the 3 rd day of the Seminar – Workshop, December
5, 2022, at the FTC Hall, the third year students of Bachelor in Agricultural course from section
C attended as well as assisted the farmer participants and the students from the BSA department
who also joined the event. The speaker was Ms. Maribel M. Nolla and the guest speaker was Mr.
Bryan Gabriel Buenaobra. They delivered the topics very well to the participants. They provided
visual presentation which made the topics interesting to them since they were very attentive and
some of them were recording the explanation of the topic’s content throughout the event. In
addition to that, the farmer participants demonstrated the proper way of propagating the pili.

There were at least 30 participants who participated the seminar - workshop that day. 10
out of those participants were farmers while the rest were the students from BSA and BAT-3C.
The event held provided snacks and lunch since the event lasted for about 5 hours, from 8 – 1
o’clock in the afternoon. BAT – 3C students assisted the farmers to their attendance until to the
distribution of the snacks and food for lunch. They also helped in preparing and organizing of the
venue. After the seminar – workshop, BAT - 3C students arrange the materials used throughout
the event. All participants were given a certificate as a proof that they had joined the seminar –
workshop.

In summary, all participants were very satisfied by their newly acquired knowledge and
skill. The students of BAT - 3C were also given a chance to assist an actual seminar – workshop
aside from gaining knowledge and skill.
