ADDENDUM
NO. PSC/EXAM/2023/707-708. Applications are invited (online) for filling in the

following temporary but likely to become permanent posts in the Services & General
Administration Department by initial recruitment through the Competitive
Examination based on prescribed syllabus. It is apprised for information of the
candidates that the number of posts of Assistant Commissioner (BCS/BS-17) has
been increased from 18 to 50 by the Government of Balochistan as advertised vide
this Commission’s Advertisement No. 04/2022, therefore, the
revised zonal allocation of said posts may be read as under: -

Note:I Those candidates who had already applied in response to

Advertisement No. 04/2022 for the above mention posts need
not apply again, moreover, their age will be calculated
as of 1st January, 2022.

Note:II Those candidates who had applied in response to Advertisement

No.04/2022 and intend to change their Optional Subjects are
directed to approach this Commission through an application by
submitting a fee of Rs.200 on Green Challan in the Head of
Account C-O2101 for the said purpose before 20th April, 2023
However, no request will be entertained afterthe expiry of said
date.

Note:III The candidates who are applying for the abovementioned posts
in response to this Addendum, their age will be caluculated as of
1st January, 2023.The Important Notes as mentioned in the
Advertisement No. 04/2022 will remain intact for both the
posts except S.No.(i)

QUALIFICATION:
 Graduate from a recognized University (for the posts of Assistant
Commissioner).
 Bachelor Degree 2nd Class from a Recognized University (for the posts
of Section Officer).
AGE LIMIT:
Minimum(21)years and Maximum (28) yearsand General upper relaxation upto
43 years granted bythe Govt: of Balochistan.
GENDER:
 Both Male and Female Citizens of Pakistan, Local/Domiciled residents of
Balochistan are eligible.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:
The numbers of attempts for serving and non-serving candidates are three (03).
Those candidates who have already availed three chances of PCS Competitive
Examination are not eligible.
EXAMINATION FEE:

The candidates should deposit the Examination Fee Rs.1000/- (Rupees One
thousand only) separately for the each post in the State Bank/National Bank or
Government Treasury only in the Province of Balochistan on prescribed provincial
(green colour) Challan Form under the Head “C-02101-Organ of State Examination Fee
RECEIPT BPSC”with incorporating the relevant RCO/District-wise Code in Challan.
And the said codes are available on the official website of this Commission
i.ewww.bpsc.gob.pk.

TESTIMONIALS:

The candidates who qualify the written portion of the competitive exam
would require to submit the following documents soon after announcement of
the result .

(a) Duly verified copies of Matriculation to Final Academic Qualification Certificates/

Degrees alongwith Detail Marks Certificates from the concerned Board/ University.
(b) Duly verified copy of Local/ Domicile Certificate from the competent authority.
(c) Attested copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
(d) Original Treasury Challan of Examination Fee Rs.1000/- for the post (duly deposited)
alongwith two photo copies.
(e) Five latest photographs (duly attested), bearing the name and parentage of the
candidates.
(f) Three Character Certificates “one from Head of Educational Institution last attended
and two from different gazetted Officers not related to the applicant” (for non-serving
candidates).
(g) Departmental Permission Certificate from the competent authority (for in-service
candidates).

FORMS AND SYLLABUS:

The Candidates are encouraged to apply online however, the candidates may
also submit their applications form in the office of Balochistan Public Service
Commission by hand during office hours. Application Form and Syllabus of PCS
Examination may be downloaded from the BPSC’sWebsite www.bpsc.gob.pk or
Commission’s office.
