1. Đứng sau TÍNH TỪ
Eg: Tuan is tall enough to play basketball.

2. Đứng trước DANH TỪ

3 NGUYÊN TẮC CẦN NHỚ KHI NỐI CÂU DÙNG “ENOUGH”
1. Trước tính từ, trạng từ có: too, so, very, quite ,extremely...  PHẢI BỎ
Trước danh từ có many, much, a lot of, lots of…  PHẢI BỎ
Eg: He is very intelligent. He can do it.  He is very intelligent enough to do it. ()
 He is intelligent enough to do it. ()
He has a lot of money. He can buy a car.  He has enough a lot of money to buy a car. ()
 He has enough money to buy a car. ()
2. Nếu chủ từ hai câu giống nhau thì bỏ phần “FOR SB”
Eg: Tom is strong. He can lift the box. Tom is strong enough for him to lift the box. ()
 Tom is strong enough to lift the box. ()
The weather is fine. Mary and her little brother can go to school.
 The weather is fine enough to go to school. ()
 The weather is fine enough for Mary and her little brother to go to school. ()
Tuy nhiên nếu chủ từ câu sau có ý chung chung thì cũng có thể bỏ đi.

 The sun is not warm enough to live on. (WE ở đây chỉ chung chung, mọi người)
3. Nếu chủ từ câu đầu và túc từ câu sau là một thì phải bỏ túc từ câu sau.
Eg: The water is quite warm. I can drink it.  The water is warm enough for me to drink it. ()

3 NGUYÊN TẮC CẦN NHỚ KHI NỐI CÂU DÙNG “TOO...TO”
1. Trước tính từ, trạng từ có: too, so, very, quite ,extremely...  PHẢI BỎ
Eg: He is so weak. He can't run.  He is too weak to run.
2. Nếu chủ từ hai câu giống nhau thì bỏ phần “FOR SB”

 Đề thường có dạng : S + BE + TOO + ADJ + TO V......  S + BE NOT + ADJ + ENOUGH + TO V…
 Cách làm:
 Chuyển từ khẳng đinh  phủ định
 Dùng tính từ trái nghĩa + enough
 Viết lại hết phần sau
Eg: He is too weak to run fast  He isn't strong enough to run fast.
Ghi chú :Trong tất cả các cấu trúc trên nếu thay BE là V thì ADV sẽ thay cho ADJ
Eg: They drive too fast for us to keep pace with  They didn’t drive slowly enough for us to keep pace with.

- so many + N đếm được số nhiều: quá nhiều … There are so many students that I can’t remember their name.
- so much + N không đếm được: quá nhiều … I drank so much coffee that I couldn’t sleep.
- so few + N đếm được số nhiều: quá ít …. There were so few people that they cancelled the meeting.
- so little + N không đếm được: quá ít…. He had so little money that he couldn’t buy that book.
