The Perfect Society

Based on the various social inequalities and crimes that affect people in diverse

communities, society is sometimes flawed. Human interaction is imperfect because of the many

dissatisfactions in society. The ideal society would have expanded fulfilment among the

individuals found in evenhandedness in appropriating assets. However, the organisation of

groups in communities is a crucial issue, particularly in a diverse world (Alpidovskaya et al.,

2001). 2). It is abundantly clear: the gathering should incorporate a couple of individuals to

guarantee control and inclusivity in activity. The modern rules and penalties used to regulate

human behaviour during human interaction are another aspect of the governance issue. The

design of a perfect society is the subject of this paper.

Political Organization and Decision Making

In a perfect society, fundamental democratic and utilitarian principles would be utilised to

enhance members' happiness and quality of life. According to Cusack 157, a social group of at

least 300 individuals could be used for political organisation and control. The decision of this

number is a direct result of its small size locally, which might contain many individuals. Per the

rules and regulations of politics, consensus and voting would be used to make decisions in such a

situation. The people who are mature enough are the only ones to be permitted to cast a ballot,

noticing that they know about the significance and effect of the activity. The others should follow

those who have been selected to lead. However, in critical circumstances requiring the

participation of all adults, consensus decision-making may be utilised. As John Stuart Mill

emphasised, utilitarianism will be a practical theory in such a society. The majority's welfare

must be considered when making decisions, especially within a social group (Matar 12).
3

Consensus, like the decision-making aspect, will be used to address any likely violations of the

rules and regulations. The severity of the offence and the harm done to individuals and the

community will determine the charges against the violators. The applied principles of restorative

justice will address law violations to restore members' peace.

Resource Allocation

Equity is a fundamental principle that must be considered when striving for perfection.

Conflict begins with an increase in inequality in the distribution of resources, which will be

addressed when everyone receives equal income and resources based on their role and

responsibility in the social group (Matar 12). Karl Marx's ideas about capitalism and socialism

will be the foundation for the ideal society's economic system. Cusack 157 says that economic

exploitation must be eradicated, and this society would also be heavily reliant on market forces

to set prices. The governments of the social groups would be crucial in ensuring that members

receive sufficient supplies of goods and that any shortages are promptly addressed to maintain

stable prices. Taxation would be used to allocate resources, mainly to fund the government's

operations. Due to their comparable incomes, however, members of a social group will all

contribute the same amount.

4

Governance

An essential part of tending to an ideal society is its administration, which should be

majority rule and address residents' issues (Cusack 157). Leadership would be essential in such a

society as a means of social control, eradicating chaos, and providing direction. Karl Marx

investigated the contention hypothesis that might emerge between the two financial classes,

which should be avoided. The government would use taxation and other funding sources to

ensure citizens access high-quality social amenities like healthcare, education, infrastructure, and

entertainment. When making decisions that are in the best interest of the majority, the leaders of

the social groups that make up the councils need to agree.

Environment

Where forests will be replanted and reclaimed for environmental conservation,

environmental conservation will be addressed. In order to limit the environmental impact of

industrialisation, this would also require a shift in energy sources. To reduce pollution,

governments must work together. The preferred energy sources would be solar energy and other

forms of renewable energy. Forest cover, which must cover at least 30 per cent of the world's

surface (Cusack 157), would be another topic of discussion. Animals must be preserved; unless

they have been domesticated, they should not be eaten as much. The wild creatures should be

saved in their familiar territories, and contamination and poaching should be annihilated to

safeguard them.
5

Technology

Technology must be used to solve problems and make life easier for people in a perfect

society. Technology must be long-lasting and increase society's innovation and invention to

improve quality of life. In addition to providing solutions to human problems, technological

advancement will improve living standards and increase contentment. The mechanisation of

society, reflected in increased production in sustainable industries, will also use technology.

Address Modern Social Issues

This society must address contemporary social issues like racism, nepotism, tribalism,

and any other modern form of corruption. People with similar values and cultures can live in the

same area and be part of the same social group in a diverse society. According to the social

contract theory, this makes it less likely that there will be disagreements. Issues on sexuality will

remain non-issues with time as all types of defilement are killed (Matar 12). Rehabilitative

treatment may be preferable to incarceration for social change, so the prison system may not be

necessary. However, achieving such a society will necessitate greater collaboration and

addressing the primary differences that may lead to conflict. Religion, particularly among social

groups, would also be a topic of discussion. All are free to move, starting with one religion and

then onto the next. In order to eliminate any potential religious conflicts, the social groups will

keep their religions consistent.

Conclusion

The ideal society will use particular features, such as small size and council, to thrive.

Equal distribution of resources and political organisation is used to eliminate social problems. In
6

addition to utilising improved technology to enhance life quality, society will strive to eradicate

all social issues to increase satisfaction. To end any kind of social conflict, environmental

conservation and sexuality, and other social controversies must be addressed.
