TASK 5

Many people have lost their belongings when they get home because of the insecurity in my
neighborhood. One way to end insecurity is to hire good police officers who can be in the area looking
out for people.
Our community is being affected by the lack of buses and the time it takes for them to run. One way to
change this is to put in new routes or have buses run more frequently.
Finally, our neighborhood is being affected by the number of rats in the garbage The best way to end this
problem is to buy peppermint oil and impregnate some places to scare the rats away.

TASK 6
I like to draw different things especially characters from TV, series, or anime. There are people who want
to learn how to draw and try different ways so you can learn new techniques by watching tutorials,
dedicating at least two hours a day for practice and trying different methods or styles.
In my case I learned by practicing with everything I saw and copying many drawings from an anime I
liked called Dragon ball. Really, drawing is difficult because there are always things to improve but the
trick is to try and never give up.

TASK 7
Gabriel García Márquez was born in 1927 in the small town of Aracataca- Colombia. He grew up with his
maternal grandparent. He went to a Jesuit college and began to read law, but his studies were soon
broken off for his work as a journalist. He began his writing career as a journalist in the 1940s. In 1954
he was sent to Rome on an assignment for his newspaper, and lived in Paris, New York, Barcelona, and
Mexico. He is the author of ten novels and short stories, journalistic articles, chronicles, and film scripts.
In 1982, García Márquez received the Nobel Prize for Literature, and he died in Mexico City in 2014.

Dear mother
I’m sorry I forgot to tell you about the party last weekend. I should have told you that I was going with
my friends, but I don’t think you would give me permission because it was in a place far away from
where I live, and you wouldn’t like me.
I take this opportunity to apologize to you, because If I’d listened to you, I would have chosen an another
career or I would have taken an course to find out what I liked.
Finally, rest assured that I will listen to you in any other situation.
