7.1. Tree Structure
Remarks:
Before it is possible to input data, a tree structure for each gearing must be available.

A Job – Tree Structure consist at least out of these data sets:

1. Job (Part number, other information about that job)


2. Gearing (Gearing, Segment gear, Worm gear)
3. Milling (Cutting conditions)
4. Hob (Hob, Sidemill)

With option it is possible to handle up to 6 gearings in one job. 7.4. Extend Tree
For each Gearing data sets for Gearing, Milling and Hob / Sidemill must be
created, the hob data can be used several times.

7.2. Create a New Tree Structure
If an old job is only modified, there is the danger old wrong inputs are kept.
It is better to create a New Job, then only unusual values are listed and errors can be found a lot
easier.

A tree can be created New either with template or every branch with new.

For that the display must be deleted.
7.2.1. Delete Display

If an old job should be modified, this can be displayed with Open.


7.3. Open Job

With tree extend additional gearings can be added.

If a different job is displayed, it can be
deleted with ”Edit“ ”Delete“, by that the
screen is emptied. If the job is already
saved, it won’t be lost and could be
opened again.

”Delete“ refers only to the screen!

If you intentionally have pressed ”Delete“,


go on with ”Y“,
otherwise press ”N“

Select the desired template by use of the


arrows / mouse

The selected template is displayed with the


tree structure.

Change Name!
Open for that the job and rewrite the name.
Also for Gearing and Milling the name should
be changed. One Hob can be used for several
jobs. Every change in the hob data for example
hob-damaged position is valid for all jobs!

Each opened display has to be closed with Softkey “Exit”

This sequence is also used for data input.
