Summary
Nurses are experiencing burnout and turnover due to unhealthy work environment, ratios

and workload, insufficient resources, negative leadership relationships, and inadequate earnings.

Retention among graduate nurses is a major obstacle affecting quality patient care and outcomes.

This paper uses research to identify the benefit of new nurses working in Magnet Hospitals and

the increased retention rate.
