THE EXILE, TRIAL, AND DEATH

The learning that I have got from the Exile, Trial and Death of Rizal is that Rizal was been
expelled in politics because he wrote a story that shows disloyalty, anti-Catholic, and anti-friars in Spain
and on suspicion of his involvement in the rebellion which led to the Spaniards to gets angry to him and
exile him. But I was amazed from him because after Rizal put in Dapitan city he did not mind the fact that
he was sent to Dapitan to live like a prisoner yet he contributed in the Dapitan city a lot especially in
teaching a student, farmers, and fishermen. This is what made Jose Rizal stand out of the others as a
hero to a nation because he was truly a man of action, he always put his countrymen first before him.
Rizal was truly a nationalistic because he never wanted to see his fellow countrymen being oppressed
and being exploited.

In Rizal’s trial, he had a lot of trials but ended up that the Spanish authorities found him guilty of
“the crimes of creating unlawful groups and of propagating and inciting to the act of insurrection.” After
being suspected incorrectly of being allied to the nationalist Filipino society which is called the Katipunan
who had started the rebellion. Rizal was convicted of rebellion, conspiracy and sedition and sentenced to
death. Rizal executed in Bagumbayan on December 30. I learned that despite of Rizal death he was able
to triggered his fellow Filipino to fight for their freedom from the Spain and grant his nation hope. And I
think that Rizal was not even regretted of what he did or sacrifices for us Filipinos, I think he was happy
because even though he died because of us he was still happy because he gave as an example and
contributed a lot especially in medicine and motivate us Filipino to fight for the right.

My suggestion about their works is that second reporter should be more energetic on talking so
that their audience has also appetite to listen to him. I think that’s the only suggestion I can give because
I was satisfied on their PPT and also to the first reporter and to their explaination also.
