1. Was Rizal just a plain “lakwatsero” or did he have significant missions for
travelling? Defend your answer
 No he was not just a plain lakwatsero because he have significant missions for
travelling. Because of his travels he has knowledge to the novels he is writing.
His books and other writings gave Filipinos knowledge and the will to stand up for
what they believed in. His books, especially Noli Me Tangere and El
Filibusterismo, are largely responsible for the freedom we enjoy in this country
today. He employed his brains, talents, and skills more subtly than violently.

2. What do you think prompted Rizal to travel to different places such as Europe,
Asia and America?
 In order to advance his professional expertise and assist Filipinos, He visited
numerous nations. To be able to treat his mother's eye condition, Rizal set out to
become an ophthalmologist. He aspired to study overseas as well as learn about
the European way of life, culture, industries, politics, and laws in order to aid in
the liberation of the Filipino people from Spanish control. A good education for
the populace, in his view, would enable him to free the nation from colonial rule.
3. Cite some of the benefits that Rizal attained from his travels around the world.
 One of the advantage of Rizal's travels is that he makes new friends and gains
the assistance of professors. He was able to complete his medical training in
Spain and obtain his doctorate, which allowed him to become a fully-licensed
physician and start practicing medicine. Also, he is curious about ophthalmology
and wants to learn more about it.
4. In your own opinion, what can we get from travelling?
 Travelling exposing us to different cultures and experiences. Traveling enables
us to experience new places and activities. It can help us to have self-discovery
and interpersonal interaction. It also improve our mental and physical abilities.
Traveling fosters responsibility and independence, making it one of the best
methods to advance one's personal development.
