The table illustrates the average of monthly rainfall rates throughout the year in five different cities

around the world (Hongkong, Tokyo, Jakarta, Cairo, and London). Overall, the highest average rate of
rainfall happens in 3 Asian Cities which are mostly above a hundred millimetres over the year. On
the other hand, for the cities outside Asia, the average rainfall rates are low.

In terms of Asian cities, Jakarta and Hongkong have the highest average rate of rainfall over the year.
The former reaches its peak in early months of the year with 300 millimetres on January and
February, the latter achieves its peak in the middle of the year with above 350 millimetres on June
until August. With regards of Tokyo, it has a fairly high rainfall in the middle of the year. The rainfall
reaches above 100 millimetres, but it decreases below 100 millimetres at the beginning and the end
of the year.

On the other hand, for the cities outside Asia, they have low rainfall average rates below a hundred
millimetres over the period of time. London, on average, have low rainfall rates under a hundred
millimetres a year, but it still reaches above 50 millimetres. Furthermore, Cairo becomes the driest
cities, with under ten millimetres throughout the year.
