I am applying for a position as a volunteer at GNAG’s afterschool program. Growing up at

GNAG, I have learned many important lessons. I learned how to share, how to make friends, how
to be polite and so much more that has shaped me into the person I am today.

I want to be able to give back to the community that has played such a large part in my life; to
be able to give other children the same opportunities that GNAG gave me. Not only do I love
working with kids, I have experience working with them. I have learned many invaluable skills,
such as conflict resolution and problem-solving from my time as a ski instructor’s assistant,
babysitter and a participant of the Glebe Leadership program.
