5. Day to Day Activity:

First pick the different job requirements from the US customer


Analyze the job requirements asked for the job description.

Search for the candidate who has the potential i.e., suitable for the job role, so the process I called
screening, through various job portals, social media platform and ATS (Application Tracking System).

Call the candidate which the process is called screening. And while in call another stage of screening takes
place were we need ask about the job requirements and conditions.

Preserving the right candidate and negotiating them by sending the RTR form (Right to Represent).

After the receival of RTR form Preparing the Resumes by altering formatting and summarizing the
Resumes.

Final stage is submission of Resumes to Team Lead and Account Managers.

6. Additional Activities of Recruiter

Interview: Once the candidate is shortlisted, we are updated with an Date and time of interview which
needs to be extended to the candidate

Co-ordinate with candidate for the interview preparation call

Offer: If a candidate receives the offer from the clients end, we extend it to the candidates regarding the
offer

Onboarding: We act as median in between the client and candidate to finish the onboarding paper work
within time to get started with the clients project.

Start: Until the candidate gets engaged with the project with the clients we need to be follow up.

Care of Candidate: Need to maintain long term relationship with the candidate for future references.

We need to influence the candidate about the Job and should always negotiate with the job requirements
nor by forcing a candidate to join the job.

Persistence is to maintain good relationship with the candidate which can be helpful for both candidate and
recruiters carrier.

Start: Start by picking a new job or reopen requirements.

Submit: The managers will submit the resumes to the clients
Preparation: once the candidate gets shortlisted from the clients end our managers will prepare the
candidate for the interview
Feedback: The post managers will the see the feedback from candidate and HR managers
Onboarding: If the candidate gets selected he/she needs to go through the barding purposes, and should
keep in touch with the candidate till joining.
Retention: We handover the candidate to the clients and maintain a long-term relationship with clients and
candidate for future reference.

14. Sunrise Recruitment in detail

Client: We get the requirement from the clients end, and the same is communicate on MSP and VMS
Account Manager: The job requirement is been sent to Acc Managers and Hr Managers.
Assignment to the Recruiter: The assignment about the job is shared to the Recruiter
Understanding & analyzing recruitment: Formulating, search strings & Key words and boolen search. The
reciter needs to find the best resumes using Key search and boolen search
Calling the candidates: Once the candidate gets selected, the recruiter needs to call up regarding the job
availability, primary skills and requirements.
Getting updated Resumes: There are some situations where resumes may not be updated, hence inform the
candidate to update the resume while on a call
The Resume of the candidate needs to be up to the mark and should meet all requirements.
Format and summarize the resume and submit to the Team lead or Acc. Manager.
And the Acc Manager/Team once again will verify the candidate regarding job recruitments for further
clarifications.
Resume gets submitted to the clients
Clients provide the feedback/interview request
Recruiter arranges for an interview clients
Closure of onboarding process where the recruiter has maintain long term relationship with clients and
candidate.

15. Understanding/ Analyzing the Requirement:

Location: Informing the candidate about the work location, so that he/or she is commutable to work
location.
Duration: Always inform about the work duration and the contract period of time
Rate: Its important to check whether he/she is fine with the pay range and try to negotiate but not to force
them.
Primary and Secondary Skills: Check whether the candidate skills matches job requirement and also
explain about the job details and skills required.
Tool: Prop to the candidate about the tool he going to use and ask him for what tool you used in previous
organization.
Start date and end date: Always maintain and summarize the duration of assignment which intern goes to
the clients to know the joining date.
There may be chances to forget the keywords, so read the job description requirements multiple times.
Clients Name: Always mention the clients name and details, if you don’t find the name search in for the
source and company

16. Searching by resumes:

Its by two methods:

Key Word Search: Recruiter looks through the resume for and Position of job, Required skill, specific skills
that matches the job description and functions in ATS Application, by job boards Monster and carrier
builders.
Its for only functional jobs or low level jobs for Technician, Business Analyst. Project Manager’s.
An technical method, were w e can use the application to find the Resumes.

Boolean Search: Its technical method where we can use application find the potential in a resume.

18. Screening the candidate over the phone:

It’s the most critical step in identifying and hiring the candidate

Greet the candidate on call opening


Introduce ourselves and details of company we are calling from.
Ask permission from candidates to speak about the job positions.
Good idea to send the job description while on a call if its possible
Discuss the positions (Job title, Role, duration, locations, pay rate experiences if required to qualify for the
job requirements
Negotiate with the payrate and summarize the details to know whether candidate is interested in the job.
Close the call and send him RTR form to reserve the candidate for the job positions

19. Red flags while screening:

Red flags nothing but warnings

Commutate: We cannot submit candidates resume once if he is not willing to work in the mentioned
location in daily basis
Payrate: Candidate needs to agree the pay rate even before his candidature
Willingness to join: If the candidate is not coordinating with the calls interview dates, hen its sign of red
flag, need to think twice before we send out the resume to the clients
We will have to inform the candidate that there will be background verification and credit check, I
candidate not accepts for terms. Its cause of red flags.
Ex-employee of the company same client not to good for submission of resume
Qualification should be equivalent, not to be under qualified or overqualified.

20. Boolean operators and Searching Strategies

Using proper Boolean operations and searches one can find the data faster

Non Immigrant Visa and Immigrant Visa ( Green Card)

Non Immigrant Visa: Issued for a temporary visits such as tourism, business, work or study.

Types: H1B and H4, J1, EAD, Border Visa , OPT and CPT

H1B: It’s a work permit under immigration, people can enter US for period of 3 years, and can be extended
for period of 3 years.

H4: Its granted to dependents of immigrants on H1B work permit

J1: Basically for someone from home country to US training.

EAD: Employment Authorization Document: It a work permit for period of 1 year.

Types of EAD: 1485 EAD (Green Card)


OPT EAD

Border Visas: US shares borders Canada and Mexico

Types : TN1 (Canada)


TN2 (Mexico)

OPT (Optional Practical Training): For the graduates and under graduates who have completed or pursuing
degree for more than 9 year by USCIS generally for F-1 holders.

CPT (Curricular Practical Training): It’s a temporary employment authorization for F1visa for non
immigrant. Granted through for international students.

Mode of Hiring: Mode of hiring or a position type contract established between a company a person and
company to company.

Tax Terms: Contract between company and a candidate

W2: The candidate work as full time, as gets all the benefits from the employer as employer W2 form to
candidate of previous year in January, candidate submit tax returns to IRS, and occasionally employers
submit tax in returns on behalf of candidate.

W2 has two types With and Without Salary benefits

Contract Independent (1099): Candidate work as a contractor for a company for that contract period. 1099
is the form to candidate in January, for the amount payed previous year.
