ANT - Programme

We are sharing this world with plants, reptiles; birds, animals along with other marine
species. Even though the biodiversity around is so diverse and amazing, we tend to view
take a very anthropocentric and fail to appreciate this diversity. Hence conservation is the
need of the hour.
Amateur Naturalist Training programme is an initiative to promote awareness on the above
mentioned topic and there by encouraging the student community of Gulf Indian School,
Fahaheel to appreciate and celebrate the biodiversity of Kuwait. The main objectives of ANT
project is to

• Identify & native species of kuwait


• Promote conservation campaigns at school level.
• Appreciate the native biodiversity
• Identify and conserve biodiversity spotted near Gulf
• To encourage children to take an interest in kuwait's
• To equip school children with the basic skills of a naturalist
