Important Notice on MUET 2023 Session 2

To All TAR UMT Students of Kuala Lumpur Campus, Penang, Perak and Pahang Branches:
1) Online Registration for MUET 2023 Session 2 at TAR UMT
Please be informed that the online registration for MUET 2023 Session 2 will be opened for the following
students:
i) Kuala Lumpur Campus – Bachelor’s Degree programmes only
ii) Penang Branch – All Programmes
iii) Perak Branch – All Programmes
iv) Pahang Branch – All Programmes

Details are as follows:

(a) Registration Date
Commencement of Registration: 8.30 am, Monday, 20 February 2023
Closing of Registration : 11.59 pm, Friday, 24 February 2023
You may register to sit for MUET by logging in to TAR UMT Intranet> Examinations> MUET-
Registration.
(b) Fee Payment
The payment will commence on Monday, 20 February 2023 at 8.30am. The registration is confirmed
only upon payment of RM110 (Malaysian) or RM360 (non-Malaysian) not later than Saturday, 25
February 2023 by 11.59pm.
Students can make online payment or pay at Public Bank Branches.

Due to the limited capacity, registration will be on first-come, first-served basis and any late registration
and/or late payment after the deadline will NOT be entertained.
Please note that the tests will be held in the Kuala Lumpur Campus, Penang, Perak and Pahang Branches
respectively on the following dates:

MUET Description Dates

Speaking Test 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 June 2023
(Tuesday – Thursday & Monday – Wednesday)
Written Test 15 July 2023 (Saturday)

Note: The information stated above is subject to change and approval by the Ketua Eksekutif MPM.

2) Registration as a MUET Private Candidate
Students who wish to register as a private candidate may log in to www.mpm.edu.my for detailed
information and the MPM’s schedule of registration. Private candidate may register via the following link:
https://muet.mpm.edu.my/registration
For students who are undergoing Industrial Training outside of Klang Valley, they are encouraged to
register as private candidates at nearby MUET centres.

3) Requirement for Graduation

All TAR UMT Bachelor Degree Programme students MUST achieve a valid MUET score of at least Band 3
to be eligible for consideration for graduation.

4) MUET Preparatory Course and MUET Seminar

Centre for Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) will be conducting the MUET preparatory course
and MUET seminar at prescribed fees, for students who are interested. Please contact CPE or refer to the
TAR UMT website for further information.
