ABSTRACT: The implementation of social awareness issued by the government during the COVID-19
pandemic has influenced Teaching and Learning (T&L) activities where all educational institutions are
instructed to close to prevent covid-19 infection. Therefore, this study aims to identify the level of students'
perception of using zoom meet webinar during covid-19. This study involved a sample size of 35 Technical and
Vocational Education students who used zoom meet webinars in T&L activities. The questionnaire used was
adapted from a previous study and had obtained expert confirmation before being used in this study. This study
uses two types of analysis, namely descriptive statistics and inference. From the analysis conducted, the results
of the analysis showed that the level of students' perception of the using of zoom meet webinar during covid-19
is 3.39 which is at a moderate level. Meanwhile, the pearson correlation test found that the significant value was
.000. Therefore, there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude towards the use of zoom meet webinars.

I. INTRODUCTION
Corona virus or COVID-19 was declared a dangerous epidemic on March 11, 2020. The spread of the virus is
very fast and 185 countries in the world are infected with COVID-19 (CSSE, 2020). [1] recommends that one of
the measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 is to impose travel restrictions, quarantine, workplace hazard
control, and closure of public facilities. This pandemic causes severe disruption in various social and economic
fields. The education sector is also experiencing significant disruptions. Schools and universities have been
closed in several countries that are infected with COVID-19. This is done to prevent the quick spread of corona
virus. Social distancing suggested and implemented by the local governments greatly affect the state of learning
in institutions of higher learning. The learning process at higher learning institutions must be continued to meet
the needs of the students.
The solution that can be offered at this time to educators is through online learning. Educators as one of the
important components of the higher education must be able to facilitate students with lectures, material delivery
and even assessment system. Online learning involves the use of technology, in which students strive to
complete various tasks and make decisions all the time. One of the purposes of online learning is to maximize
the decisions that students have made online by being given knowledge of correct answers and additional
information that can be accessed at any time [2]. It is beneficial for students who interact online to improve their
performance. Students are able to have simple discussions that focus on learning topics such as traditional
classes [3].
The most notable characteristic of online learning is that it provides convenience and flexibility to lecturers and
students, especially to determine online learning schedules regardless of location [4]. In the online learning
process, various platforms can be used effectively in the form of applications, websites, social networks or
learning management systems (LMS). The various platforms available are used to help facilitate learning such
as material delivery, assessment, or just to collect assignments. According to some experts, the use of LMS is
effective in managing learning because it has completed and easily accessible features. [5] revealed that LMS
Moodle can be used to share learning resources, assign assignments, and conduct assessments. This of course
supports the learning outcomes and can enhance the creativity of prospective teachers.

PANDEMIC COVID-19
Covid-19 is a disease with relatively rapid spread of infection. The disease is caused by the Corona virus which
specifically attacks the human respiratory system [9]. The control of these infectious diseases can be done by
minimizing the relationship of social activity [10]. Maintaining distance to reduce physical contact that has the
potential to spread the disease is known as social distance [11]. In an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19
across the campus, the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) has decided to implement learning from home.
This learning is done using the internet so that it allows lecturers and students to be in different places during the
learning process. Lecturers can create teaching materials that students can access online from anywhere and at
any time. According to [12], learning done using internet technology makes it possible to interact through web,
where lecturers and students are completely in different places [13]. The location of the students and lecturers’
isolation during the learning process minimizes the possibility of physical contact so that it can encourage the
emergence of socially distant behaviors. According to [14] the implementation of social distance is considered
an action necessary to suppress the spread of Covid-19.

1.4 The Relationship Between Attitude and Knowledge in Using Zoom Meet
Based on Table 5, the study found that the mean value obtained is .000 and lower than 0.05. Thus, there was a
relationship between attitude and knowledge in the use of zoom meet where the level of correlation between
attitude and knowledge was strong as the value of R was .723. Students need to be prepared to improve their
knowledge and attitude to make computers as a teaching and learning technology to replace conventional
approaches that were less common based on technological innovation [27]. This study was supported by [28]
study on the effectiveness of the use of the concept of VLE Frog virtual teaching environment among students.
He found that all students (100 %) really liked going to the computer lab because they had a new learning
environment and the teacher's observation also found that students were very excited when they could enter the
computer lab and used this application.

V. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the zoom meet webinar was seen to have great potential in the field of education. The integration
between face-to-face learning and e-learning gave the students and teachers more choice in Teaching and
Learning (T&L). The use of zoom meet application in learning could help students and educators create and
build their knowledge which to some extent was able to provide an interesting and more effective learning
approach. Encouraging the use of zoom meet application among students will have a positive effect, as it is a
medium of cooperation that can involve students, especially in providing group assignments regardless of the
distance and time constraints to meet physically. It is a technological innovation in the world of education that
needs to be considered for its existence. However, the acceptance of an innovation in technology not only
involves the use of a sophisticated and up-to-date software or hardware, but also is closely related to the level of
use and effective methods or techniques in applying it. These technological skills can have a huge impact on
consumers if their use is expanded by educators in Malaysia.
