'Must' và 'Have to' khác nhau thế nào?

1. Must và Mustn't +V1

a. Must: Phải làm gì đó (bắt buộc như quy định của luật pháp), mang tính khách quan
Ví dụ: Students must go to school on time.
She must wear helmet when she rides motorbike on the road.

b. Mustn't: Cấm làm gì đó (mệnh lệnh, quy định, điều luật buộc mọi người phải tuân theo)
Ví dụ: You mustn't drive over 30 km/hour in this area.
We mustn’t walk on the grass in the parks.

2. Have to và Don't have to +V1

a. Have to: Phải làm gì đó - mang tính chủ quan của người nói, người nói tự cho rằng
mình phải làm điều đó
Ví dụ: I have to prepare dinner myself.
We have to clean our classroom before the class starts.

b. Don't have to: Không cần phải làm

Ví dụ: You don’t have to leave your phone number. It is in my heart.
The couples don’t have to hurry. The married day has been changed by the fortune teller (thầy
bói).
