The Original Trantorque: single-nut pioneer
The original Trantorque (TTQ) is a single-nut
keyless locking device that can be installed in
seconds with a torque wrench. It is self-centering
and can be repeatedly tightened and uninstalled, if needed, to get exactly the right placement.
Fenner Drives invented Trantorque and refined it over four decades. We have been the sole
manufacturer of Trantorque since its inception.
The Trantorque Micro is designed for use with shafts as small as 1/8 inch (3 mm). We generally
recommend Trantorque for shafts of less than 1½ inches and B-LOC for larger shafts.

B-LOC: North America’s Multi-Screw Leader
B-LOC Keyless Bushings use a simple wedge principle
to provide a high capacity, zero-backlash shaft-to-hub
connection. Tightening the multiple screws forces together
two tapered rings, one of which squeezes the shaft while the
other presses into the component bore.
Fenner Drives was a pioneer in introducing KLD technology to the North American market with
B-LOC. It is acknowledged as the premium brand of multi-screw KLDs in North America.
Products include:
• Shrink Discs can handle high capacities but are easy to assemble.
• WK Couplings accommodate bending moments where there are shaft
alignment issues.
• Compression hubs can be used to mount components without a hub.
• B-LOC SPEED allows you to reduce installation time by up to 60 percent,
compared to standard KLDs.

MAV: International Problem Solver
Our recent acquisition of Italian KLD manufacturer TM
MAV has reunited both versions of the industry-
standard B-LOC/MAV design. MAV is one of the most
highly regarded KLD manufacturers globally, known
for solving the toughest challenges.
The company serves the international market and makes everything from the small to medium
diameter units to specializing in the larger multi-screw KLDs (from 600-1600 mm) that B-LOC
does not provide.

One of the worst-kept secrets in industrial equipment maintenance is the failure of keyways. For decades or even generations, maintenance
engineers have struggled with the fretting corrosion, backlash and reliability issues of keyways. There’s a better way – keyless locking devices
